Dot Mac Clone...
I want to be able to have all the advantages of Dot Mac but using my own server. I don't want to have to pay Apple for hosting my pages when I already have my own server. I like the way all of Apple's apps integrate with .Mac but don't like the fact you need to purchase the service exclusively from them.
Is there a way to create a Dot Mac Clone? Can these functions be reversed engineered? I'm guessing this would be an open source free software project? I have small funds to assist if needed.
